Well, the people I was with and I also have the best cooling technology money can buy, but it is Wintertide so I am not trying to suppose cold thoughts.
This week was genuinely cold when I woke up plus went for a ride on my bike.
I was kind of dreading the cold sea plunge I took because I knew the water would be genuinely cold this morning. But, the sun was shining plus the natural temperature control system of the sun kept me nice plus hot while I sat in the cold sea. I suppose the sun is superb at radiative heating plus when it is out it warms your body just from it shining on you. It is honestly amazing that an object which is 93 million miles away, the sun, can heat up objects to the point where they could fry an egg. Both of us l earned about that in this Heating, Ventilation plus A/C technology course the people I was with and I all took as it involved a lot of thermodynamic subjects. The sun uses radiative heating, just appreciate a radiant heating system would do in a home, to hot anything that is near it plus visible! The sun doesn’t hot the other side of the planet because the rays don’t hit anything plus just go on into the black space that surrounds the globe. The sun even has a warming plus heating effect on the seas, taking them from cold to hot with the increasing seasons. I have an ancient oil heating system but I suppose I may change it for a radiant heating system soon because I suppose they would hot me up faster after my cold sea dips.
