Lowering our carbon footprint with a geothermal heat pump

I suppose having grandkids was the tipping point for my wife & I.

When we were actually still in school, the two of us got married.

And once the two of us graduated & got tasks that came with a desk & commercial Heating & A/C, the two of us managed to start a family. It was sort of like a common routine the two of us were following. Our life was going to be even nicer & grander than our parents. That was the American way pretty much. However, the two of us both came from fairly rich circumstances. We both grew up in properties that were well appointed, pressing & had the latest in residential Heating & A/C equipment. So the reality of automatically having a much nicer life than our parents wasn’t at all assured. We learned pretty quickly as the two of us were truly working full time & still, the two of us were struggling to get by. This caused us to sort of change our trajectory & simply be grateful for what the two of us had & maybe simplify our lives to a certain extent. That’s what the two of us did & the two of us focused on raising our little ones. Once the two of us upgraded the Heating & A/C equipment in the family property & sold it, the two of us weren’t completely sure what to do next. The simplified life took on an ecological perspective once the grand youngsters were born & climate change became a pressing issue. The people I was with and I felt it was completely important to do our thing so the two of us built a much smaller property & chose a geothermal heat pump for our heating & cooling equipment. This heating & cooling equipment is the most sustainable outside of solar power. We wish to do what we can in order to help change the trajectory of climate change & consumption in our lives so our grand youngsters could appreciate their lives to the fullest.
