My brother told me that he wants to move to a more energy efficient house this year.
He’s been thinking about moving for a while now, but he was waiting until he got a promotion at his job.
That finally happened for him at the first of the year, and so now he’s really looking into finding a different house to move into later on this year. I’m proud of him for doing so well at work and for getting this promotion, but I really don’t know if he’s doing the right thing by trying to move to a different house. I really like the house that he is living in now. It’s paid off, and it would be really easy for him to go ahead and improve the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system in this particular house. I think that doing some changes and updating the HVAC system in his existing house would make a lot more sense than for him to try to buy an new house altogether. The house that he lives in now is in a good location, and it’s near a lot of good schools in case he decides to get married and have a family. I keep telling him that there are many ways that he could make his existing home more energy efficient. If he updates the windows and doors and the HVAC system, then his home would be much more energy efficient than it is now. Plus, he wouldn’t have to worry about buying and selling a new place. I hope I can talk him out of moving.
