I was very excited to finish my apprenticeship. I was with the following team doing an air conditioning installation. Being at the center of the air conditioning business, I learned more about air conditioning, the brands people preferred, and their pros and cons. I advised a homeowner who had to choose cooling equipment that would best help with indoor comfort. I would like to be in charge of installing the thermostat. It was only later that I realized I was in no such luck. Besides going for the installation, I had to go to a different house for an air conditioner tune-up. The workload was a lot compared to the air conditioning experts. I was slightly disappointed, but I knew more would come in my career as an a/c rep. When I thought it could not get any worse, the cooling products I would service were up in the attic. There was barely enough headroom to maneuver, but I eventually found a way. The air conditioning repair gave me a run for my money due to the limited space, but I did an excellent job, including changing the air conditioning filter. The air conditioning company I worked for prided itself on delivering exceptional services, and I was not about to let them down on my first official assignment. As I was leaving the premises, one of the neighbors, a young man, ran up to me. He wanted to upgrade to a heat pump due to its energy-efficient cooling technology. I gave him my business card. He insisted that he would rather talk to me. I told him that he would get through to me through the number on the card. I also assured him that any cooling specialist at the office could offer any advice or assistance he needed.
