It seems that both of us could go ahead & list it & see if both of us get any interest without a more current Heating and A/C system being installed in it.
My Grandmother Pat has decided that she wants to transfer into the local retirement city & I told her that I could help her get her beachside house ready to sell. However, the realtor told us that before both of us even thought about putting the beachside house on the market, Pat and I needed to put in a more current Heating and A/C system. I guess our Grandma’s Heating and A/C system is quite old & worn out & nobody wants to buy a beach house if it does not have a new, high quality, high efficiency Heating and A/C system in it anymore. At least, that is what the realtor said to us. I sincerely can’t say that I totally trust this woman because I have never worked with this particular realtor before. However, I guess she probably knows what she is talking about since she is a pro in the realty business. I just do not understand why it’s so important to have a more current Heating and A/C system & our Grandma’s beach house before both of us put it on the market. It seems that both of us could go ahead & list it & see if both of us get any interest without a more current Heating and A/C system being installed in it. I guess the realtor is just trying to get top dollar for Pat & also because of the commission that she is going to get from selling it! I do not know. Either way, I guess Pat and I are going to have to go ahead & start working with a local Heating and A/C supplier to get the old heating & cooling system updated. Pat told myself and others that she also wants to get the duct work professionally cleaned in the beachside house so both of us can put that on the listing information sheet as well.
