I have consistently believed that it’s great to have friends in all the right locations, however for instance, in case I need modern tires for my car, my hubby Marc plus I have a buddy named John who owns a tire dealer! Also, John has a mechanic shop, so if something goes wrong with our vehicles, my buddy and I can consistently depend on him for help, but of course, this is also reciprocated because over the years, I have helped him wherever I can. I am an Accountant, so he can consistently call me with questions or when he needs tax advice! Plus, I have also helped him with his taxes, making sure that everything is in compliance with the law, then moreover, Marc owns an Heating plus A/C dealer, so last year, when John needed a modern Heating plus A/C unit, Marc was able to help him with that. In fact, because Marc has so many connections within the Heating plus A/C industry, he was able to get John a absolutely great deal on a brand modern Heating plus A/C unit. And of course, Marc, with the help of one of his Heating plus A/C servicemans installed the modern device for our friend. And yes, this is a transactional relationship, however it works out well for all of us. However, that is not consistently the case with some people. My friend and I have friends who just expect perks from Marc all the time to the point where he felt that he was being taken fortune of. While it is great to know someone who is an Heating plus A/C serviceman, it’s not ok to take unfair fortune of the perks or services they may perform.
