My university didn’t have air conditioning

I grew up in a major neighborhood plus went to 1 of the prominent high universitys around… It was a university that focused on getting the students ready for school as well as the workforce.

I loved the university because of the diversity plus it allowed the students to tap into our creativity, however every one of us were always building a new gadget, creating a new program or going on field trips to learn something new, however all in all, it was a good experience, but my university building is over 100 years old, so we didn’t have a lot of conveniences that some of the current universitys have today, however for instance, the university had heating because that was a requirement by the city, however it did not have air conditioning, the heating source was provided by radiators that were linked to the boilers that were located in the basement of the building, then during the Winter, the building was always sizzling plus toasty, which felt great on those afternoons when it was extremely freezing outside, and however, when it was closer to Summer plus we were still in university, we had no relief from the heat.

There were some general areas in the building love the auditorium that had some sort of air conditioning, however the classrooms didn’t have any. Most of the older buildings in the neighborhood weren’t built with central cooling. And it would be too pricey to install the ductwork for a proper Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system. Thankfully, the temperature outside wasn’t too warm when we were in university, so not having air conditioning wasn’t a massive deal to more than 2 of us.
