There is something about challenging periods in one’s life where you find out what really is pressing in life.
This is a pretty pressing factor when it comes to taxing times.
I regularly make an attempt to remember this while I’m going through an awful stretch whether it’s inside the zone controlled Heating & A/C of work or at your dwelling. When things are tough, you find out what’s essential plus it makes it easier to simplify, let go plus get through. For sure, the pandemic was a relatively trying time for a vast majority of us. And I’m talking about the people who didn’t lose family members or deal with the worst of Covid themselves. That’s another level of challenge to be entirely honest. For people who are something like me, being sent back to your dwelling from the commercial Heating & A/C of the office to work inside our own air conditioning was a significant challenge. Learning to work from home was taxing despite the fact that I actually managed to figure it out. What was tougher was having my paycheck reduced plus the bonuses taken away for practically 2 years. But I leaned into this economic stress by going through the dwelling budget plus reducing my spending. Then, I had to take a relatively hard look at just what was essential plus what really wasn’t. I pay a good amount of money to be in the Heating & A/C run by our Heating & A/C company. And that was an expense that I almost chose to bypass. It’s not a nominal fee so having the extra money would have been pretty nice. But the more I thought about it, the more I knew that reliable, consistent heating plus cooling is very important.
