Our twin cousins live way up in the mountains & they don’t have air conditioning in their house.
They say that they would rarely ever use it & so they just never got it installed in their cabin up there.
When they 1st told myself and others about this, I was legitimately shocked. After all, all 3 of us grew up in the country where the air conditioning is basically the most important thing that there is in the house. My twin cousins grew up right down the street from me, & they consistently thought the same thing. Until the twins moved away a couple of years ago, air conditioning was a huge part of their lives. So whenever I planed a trip out to visit them, our 1 cousin warned myself and others that they do not have any air conditioning in their current house. When she first told myself and others that, I was flabbergasted. I had no clue that they were living way up there in the mountains without air conditioning. It was the weirdest thing that I had ever heard of. I guess coming from the place where all 3 of us grew up, air conditioning is just as correct as breathing, and you have to have air conditioning while I was in the summer months because the heat gets oppressive without it. As far as I knew, they had moved to a place that was easily much like the place that all 3 of us all grew up. However, according to her, the mountains are completely different. My cousin said that it’s nice & cool most of the time & there’s lots of shade everywhere. She also said that even if they did have central air conditioning in their current house, they would never use it.
