For now, I’m going to endure the chill in my home office and wait until I find something better
I guess savor it’s really easy to cool a space down compared to heating up a space. I swiftly realized this when I had a room in my beach house that needed extra heat and not air conditioner. There are tons of portable fans and ceiling fans on the market for cooling, but the possibilities are limited with oil furnaces. There’s portable oil furnaces, but they seem dangerous to me. I don’t savor the idea of plugging in something that heats to a high temperature and then sitting it on something. It sounds savor a total fire hazard! I think there are a lot of oil heating systems out there that have a safety feature that shuts the oil furnace off when it becomes warm, but I don’t trust it. I need the extra heat in my home office, especially while I sleep. The last thing I want to do is go to sleep with the portable oil furnace running and then wake up to a fire. I’ve study countless reviews about these oil heating systems on the market and most of them are excellent. I just can’t seem to relax about it though. I think if I purchase a heat source and put it beside my bed, I’ll spend all night lying awake because of stress and anxiety. I never have to worry about a ceiling fan or AC equipment burning my beach house down. For now, I’m going to endure the chill in my home office and wait until I find something better. I may have to install a ductless equipment just for the heat.
