I don’t know if it was the care, the medication, or the space heater, but the next morning I felt completely better
When was the last time I was so ill? In addition to having chills all over my body, I had a fever. I could not get hot enough despite knowing it was hot outside. My wife checked my temperature and fed me chicken broth when she woke me up, but I dozed off before she left. I woke up and looked around after an hour. A small space heater that was next to the bed was the first thing I noticed. The location of the space heating system was chosen by my wife so that it would not come into contact with anything, but would still provide a significant amount of heat to my cold body. I had just woken up when she came back, and she enquired as to how I was feeling. She smiled as I told her how much I appreciated everything she had done for me the previous two mornings. Possessing a partner who enjoys you without conditions is special. They give without expecting anything in return. They take care of you when you need them to, and they also bring space heaters if you are shivering so violently that you fear your body will shatter.
