I hate going to the dealership to have work performed on my truck; The dealership always performs excellent repairs, but they also reset my tuner every time I take the truck to see them; I don’t think why they reset the tuner.
I think it’s not necessary for them to do the work on the truck.
It might have something to do with emissions, but either way it is a sizable pain in the butt when I have to reprogram my automobile every time I need something repaired, and when I needed to have some work on the suspension plus the brakes, I consulted with an automotive performance shop first. I did not want to take my car to the dealership again if it wasn’t absolutely necessary. I spoke with many people plus found that the best custom automotive shop was on the west side of town… Everyone seemed to advocate the same person when I asked around for the name of the best custom automation business in the area. I made an appointment to see the owner of the best custom automotive shop on Sunday. I explained to the guy exactly what was happening with my vehicle, however he seemed to understand what the trouble was plus he felt that he could fix the problem easily. He asked me to supply him a couple of hours with the truck later that afternoon. He had an oil change plus a brake job already that day, but he was certain that he would be able to get to my truck in the afternoon. The custom performance shop ended up charging me a lot less than the business auto body shop plus they did not reset my tuner.
