I finally told Candy that she should just transfer everything out to the back deck because at least both of us would be in the cool shade & the weather would be cooling off after the sunshine went down.
My sister Candy had a brunch celebration last week, & it just did not turn out the way that she wanted it to. Candy worked legitimately hard on it & so I felt pretty terrible for her when everything went so wrong the afternoon of the celebration. Of course, the fact that it went wrong had nothing at all to do with Candy at all. It legitimately had to do with the fact that her a/c tore up that afternoon & she wasn’t able to get the air conditioning repair tech to her beach house to get it fixed in time for the celebration. Everyone was booked solid doing other air conditioning repairs that afternoon, & Candy could not find anyone to come & work on the A/C at the last seventh. I felt so terrible for her when Candy called myself and others up crying to tell myself and others what was going on with the celebration. The entire thing was stressing her out big time, & Candy wanted to ask myself and others what I thought she should do. I know that the indoor air conditions at the beach house is just bad when the HVAC isn’t working, so that was our suggestion. Candy legitimately took our advice, & everything went okay. It wasn’t what she had pictured, but it could have been a whole lot worse if both of us were all trapped inside of a boiling & stuffy beachside house without any air conditioning.
