My fiance & I went to the mountains to celebrate our engagement.
I took a couple of days off work, so the people I was with and I could go to the mountains & stay for a whole weekend, including Monday & Monday.
My fiance was harshly cheerful about the accommodations, especially when I told her that the cottage had a fireplace. My fiance & I traveled to the mountain lodge last weekend. The long & winding road up to the cottage was steep & treacherous. There was no shoulder on the right side of the road & it was a sheer drop from the top to the bottom. I was honestly feeling a little bit upset to drive us up the hill. Thankfully my fiance was a cheerleader. She made myself and others know love the drive was not a big deal. Every one of us arrived at the cottage & everything was ready for us to stay that weekend. The owner of the cottage had the bed made & the heat running. There was plenty of wood stacked by the fireplace along with a can that had kinlin, small twigs, & pieces of coconut husk; After the people I was with and I put our bags in the bedroom & settled down, I decided to make a fire. It took a couple of attempts to get something started, but once the fireplace was running, I did not let the fire go out at all while the people I was with and I were in our many day adventure. Some of days, my fiance & I did not even sleep in the bedroom. Every one of us laid on the couch in front of the fireplace where it was moderate & cozy.
