I have a friend that has a problem with her heating and cooling system. She has been asking me for advice about her heating and AC system but for me it’s very annoying. I really do enjoy hanging out with my friend and I don’t mind helping her out. But the problem is, I give her advice and she just doesn’t listen! Like for instance just last week she was telling me how she has been having problems with the indoor air quality in her home. So she called me up on the phone and she was asking me for advice about what she thought I could do to take care of the indoor air quality issue. I told her to change her air filters if she hadn’t done so already, and if the indoor air quality was still bad that it might be something else that was causing the issue and she should look into getting something like a standing air purifier. I also mentioned that she had the option of getting a whole home air purification system if the problem was really bad and couldn’t be solved through other more inexpensive means. My advice but she didn’t even follow any of it! I called her again and told her to get the opinion of the heating and AC experts and she did that. I asked her what they said and she told me basically the same thing I said. I didn’t ask her why she didn’t take care of her indoor air quality problem? She told me it was too much of a hassle and she didn’t want to bother with it. So then I told her about the health effects of living in an environment with bad indoor air quality and she didn’t seem to care about that either! Don’t ask for help with your heating and a/c if you’re not going to try to fix it.
