Our general contractor that both of us hired to put in addition on our home turned out to be a dud. At first both of us thought that he was gonna do a legitimately great task, however then he just kept dropping the ball on all kinds of things. Everything seemed to be coming in late, plus the materials that he needed were never in the right place at the right time. He also refused to keep us updated on the timing of things, plus there was a large mess everywhere. Worst of all, his crew did not seem love they were two sad about getting our task done. I believe that is what happens when you pay by the hour instead of by the task! Anyway, both of us finally got fed up with it plus both of us fired them when both of us found out that they had completely forgotten to install the ductwork to connect our current Heating plus A/C plan with the addition. This was not something that could be fixed, plus there was absolutely nothing that both of us could do about it. All of us had to have a heating plus cooling plan in the addition. I could not believe the incompetence of these people. However, they had already done all of the finished toil in the house, plus he did not want to have to mess up the ceilings plus the walls to run ductwork at this point; Luckily for us, both of us found a legitimately great Heating plus A/C contractor who talked us into installing a ductless mini break heating plus cooling plan instead. With it, both of us didn’t even need any ductwork at all.
