I hate it when I suppose I have a self-explanatory issue with something mechanically, only to discover it’s a much worse concern altogether. My outdated Isuzu Rodeo was a great car for a teenager & school student, but it had concerns all of the time. Once I thought I just needed a new fuel pump only to discover that it was the transmission slipping instead. Even though our mechanic was able to put a used transmission in our small SUV, the cost was over $1,000 & I had no option but to borrow the currency from our parents & spend our money them back slowly. On another occasion I lost our a/c & oil furnace in the car & had to have it upgraded after hoping I just needed a coolant recharge. These are all substantially frustrating experiences to live through, but at least I had some respite recently with an issue with our home’s ventilation system. My Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional measured the temperature in all of the rooms in our house & l earned that there were substantial discrepancies & little uniformity from 1 zone to another. Given our track record of terrible luck, I distraught that this meant I needed new air duct to have a respectfully balanced temperature from room to room. I asked him what the damage report would be, even though I was pleasantly surprised that I could buy air duct dampers that simply restrict air going from 1 location & send it in another. With strategic planning, you can balance the air flow going into each room with damper opening & close the air pathways as needed. These devices are phenomenally helpful for ventilation plan discrepancies appreciate mine.
