While we were at the beach house last weekend, we ended up with a problem with the air conditioning system.
- There was no way that we could sit around the beach house all week without an air conditioning system, that’s for sure.
We ended up calling the HVAC company to have them come and fix the A/C for us. The kids were all bored out of their minds at that point and so we decided to send them down to the beach for the day to hang around and play while we waited for the HVAC company to get there. They told us when we called that it was going to be several hours because they already had a full schedule of air conditioning repair calls to get to that day. At that point, I was just really happy that they were going to be able to get to us at all. I had been afraid when I called that they were going to be all booked up and that we were going to be days and days without air conditioning. I was thrilled to find out that they were willing to squeeze us into their schedule for that morning. The kids were so bored that I ended up sending them to the beach and that was fine with them. I knew that there was no way that they were going to be patient enough to wait around in the house while we were waiting for the HVAC guys. When they finally got there, they were able to get the A/C up and running again in no time.
