There is something about the sewer system that scares the living daylights out of me.
One mishap with the pipes and you could end up with a thousand dollar bill just for excavation. You then pay to the sewer line repaired, and then you get the lawn repaired. I cringed last week when I smelled an odor of sewage in my backyard. There was a damp spot right where the sewage system was. I sent my wife into the house and asked her to go online and find someone who could do a sewer line repair. After almost an hour, she found a plumber who would do the sewer line repair that same afternoon. He brought over his own backhoe, and I knew this was going to be an expensive repair. I couldn’t tell him to go away because the sewer line repair had to be done, but I was hesitant about paying such an enormous fee. He had to excavate the area and then get the lid off the sewage tank. The honey dipper was there to clean out the sewer, and then they had to find the break in the sewer line. Unfortunately, they had to come back the next day and complete the sewer line repair, but there wasn’t anything I could do about it. The job was started, and all I could hope was that I didn’t need to take out a loan to pay for the sewer line repair. I had a gut feeling this was going to be a really expensive job, and I wasn’t looking forward to getting the bill.
