Over the past week me and my family have noticed that there is a weird smell that’s coming from our air vent.
We’re not sure what’s causing it but we need to find out because I suspect that this strange mail might be making us sick. Ever since my wife and I have started smelling the strange smell we’ve both been not feeling the best. In fact my wife was not so terrible yesterday that she had to call out of work and take the rest of the day off, she felt better when she was outside the home but the moment she walked into her house she said that she didn’t feel good at all anymore. I knew something was wrong and I decided to investigate around the house to see if I could find the source of what was causing this problem and I noticed that there was a strange smell coming out of the air vent. I said that I was going to call a heat and AC technician to come and take a look at what this was that was causing this. When the heating and AC guy came out he inspected the inside of the event and he informed us that we had mold growing in our air vent and we would need to do thorough ductwork cleaning. He asked us if he wanted it that day and I said yes that we wanted to have it cleaned the same day. We both will have the house while it was being cleaned and after a few hours if you’re able to return, still not want to take any chances though, we stayed in a hotel the next few days.
