We’ve Got a Scorcher out There Today Folks

When the temperatures start to rise, it can be tough to stay cool. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to beat the heat. One of the simplest ways to stay cool is to use fans. A fan can help circulate air and create a cool breeze, which can be a huge relief on a hot day. If you have central air conditioning, make sure to keep your HVAC system maintained. A well-functioning air conditioner can make all the difference when the temperatures start to heat up. Another option is to head outdoors. Sometimes, a change of scenery can be all you need to cool down. If possible, find a spot where there’s a nice cool breeze blowing. I often look for a cafe with some good cold AC and I will buy a pot of tea and go there and write for a few hours just to get out of the house. I didn’t realize that I had such a cool spot to go to work until my friends came here to visit and told me about the cool and mellow place to get work done. There are other ways of cooling down like taking a dip in the cool sea if you have one nearby. I live very close to the sea so I always take a cool water dip in the late morning to wake up and cool down my body core temperature. Spending time in the shade can also help you stay cool. And of course, if all else fails, there’s always ice cream!
