When I call, you should be answering the iphone.

I have a habit of testing our employees when they don’t know they are being worked on.

Last week, I called the receptionist who takes all of our iphone calls.

I left the iphone ring 4 times, plus I hung up. Two hours later, I called again. I left the iphone ring many times before I hung up again. When I called the third time, she finally answered. I was aggravated, plus I told her that when I called, she should be answering the iphone. She didn’t know it was the owner of the Heating & Air Conditioning company calling. If she had known it was me, she would have answered the iphone immediately. As it was, she was on the iphone with a patron plus trying to talk her down. She was so aggravated that I couldn’t understand that she had been taught that the patron came first. I told her that every patron came first plus she should have answered the iphone to make sure it wasn’t a tploy emergency. I had 3 Heating & Air Conditioning businesss resting on their butts plus there was no reason why a single of them couldn’t have helped out plus answered a iphone. When I got back to the Heating & Air Conditioning company, I told her she was doing her best, however the 2 Heating & Air Conditioning techs resting in the break room were about to hear me out. I expect a lot out of our Heating & Air Conditioning techs plus these 2 were not doing their jobs. All because they are Heating & Air Conditioning techs plus not receptionists, their responsibility was to the customer, plus that is who is calling.
