One thing I suppose is when you get older your body changes.
- I am studying this now as I am getting older.
The two of us tend to be more tepid or more chilly than we were when we were young. And this usually requires more heating plus a/c. I have noticed that I am more sensitive to the outdoor heat plus chilly than I was when I was a teenager plus young adult. I find myself using the central heating plus a/c machine more plus in turn this means higher electric bills. So what I have done to help reduce this is I went out plus got myself a portable space oil furnace for the Winter when I get cold. This way I do not have to turn on the central furnace as much plus I can use a lot less energy running the portable space heater. Then in the summer time I do the reverse. Which is I got myself a portable a/c unit. With the portable a/c machine I can actually keep myself nice plus cool in the tepid afternoons without having to run the central a/c undoubtedly much. When it gets absolutely tepid I have to turn on the central a/c for a bit plus then go back to the portable a/c unit. But still it saves me on the energy use I was spending by reducing our bills by almost half off what I had been paying. And this is great! Getting old is not fun in the least. But I can handle it with our portable Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment.
