It is not quite as new, but at least we have air conditioning
My husband and I do not have the best luck when it comes to picking good apartments. The last apartment that we lived in was super nice, but the air conditioning did not work. We tried telling our landlord that it did not work, but he just ignored the issue. We waited an entire year for him to fix it, but he did not. After a year of living without air conditioning, we finally decided that it was time to move. I was super bummed about moving in one sense because I really loved the apartment that we lived in. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen had been completely remodeled, and it was beautiful. My husband loved that apartment too, but it just was not practical because the air conditioning did not work. We did not want to have to buy a window unit when the cost of air conditioning was already fit into our rent. I am sure that my husband could have fixed the air conditioner himself, but he refused to fix it because that was not his job. He told our landlord that he would be willing to help him fix the air conditioning if he would just come over and look at it or hire someone to fix it. It is all over now because we moved to a new apartment. It is not quite as new, but at least we have air conditioning. We are hoping to find another more modern apartment in the future. We just have to make sure that AC works before we agree to rent it.
