I think today is leg day on the beach.

• I like to train legs about once or twice a week, and that’s not counting all of the biking and volleyball I do each week.

I do sandbag jumps in the sand, which really helps keep my legs strong. I had to clean my ductwork the other day and it required lots of leg muscles and I am happy that my legs didn’t get tired the whole time. I think it took me like four or five hours to clean the ducts and I was up and down ladders the whole time. My central heating unit has a filter in it but there is still a lot of dust getting through it and into the ducts. I don’t mind doing the cleaning but if I can avoid it that would be even better. I wonder if a HEPA filter would help keep the ductwork cleaner for longer. I bet it would because it catches a lot more of the dirt and dust that normally gets through the cheaper type like I have in mine now. I think the local contractor sells HEPA filters and if I bring in my old one he can probably get me a fitting HEPA right on the spot. I will go down there later after I finish my yoga and my work, oh yeah and also go on my bike ride. It’s warming up outside so it should be a pleasant ride along the coast. I need to clear my mind because I’m flying in a week and a bit nervous I guess.

It sounds so space aged; I’m working on my Ipad with my wireless earbuds, while my robotic vacuum cleaner cleans and my smart thermostat heats the flat. Call me old, but none of that stuff was around when I was a kid. Maybe I can let you in on how my world was when I was ten years old. We had no HEPA filters, or smart thermostat back then. In fact, we only had ceiling fans in my house to keep us cool where we grew up. In the winters we had to make a fire in the fireplace to warm the house, we didn’t even have a thermostat in the house back then. I had to sweep the floors with a broom and dustpan and then mop the whole house with a mop and bucket. Now I have this smart vacuum cleaner, with its built-in HEPA filter, to keep my house nice and clean without me doing anything except emptying its dust compartment once a week. I still wash a lot of my clothes by hand because I wear such a limited amount of clothing in my flat. It makes it easy for me. My hot water heater only heats the water that I use because it is a tankless model, which saves me a lot of money in electricity each month. I have a very simple diet too, eating mainly fruit and vegetables and rice. I have a gas stove which really uses almost nothing at all in gas to cook each month. It’s nice living simply like this and technology helps.

I named my robot vacuum cleaner Barney because he just looks so innocent and sweet.

The only place Barney really can’t clean on the floors is under my sofa. The sofa sits too low for Barnet to get underneath. Maybe I could raise its legs a half inch then Barney could clean under it because I see lots of dust under there now. I vacuumed the sofa with my HEPA hand vacuum cleaner but I couldn’t get under the sofa. I wonder how I could raise it up a half an inch? The sofa is a bit in the way of my smart thermostat so maybe I could move the sofa over a few feet and Barney could clean that area for me. I don’t want to clog Barney though so maybe I should sweep up all of the big stuff that was where the sofa was before moving it. I’m going to look for a new gas heater for my flat because I have an electric one that just costs way too much to operate. I think gas is a lot cheaper and cleaner for the environment so why not switch to it? I used to have a gas heater a long time ago and I remember how cheap it was to heat my house with it. Hopefully it’s cheap now and I don’t have to worry about how I’m going to pay the power bills each month. Maybe I should get a gas hot water heater too, because I take a lot of baths and am sure it uses a lot of power.

I had obtained a smart thermostat from our local heat as well as air conditioning supplier earlier this year as well as the thing ended up chopping on myself and others within a few weeks! I could not think this because it was a brand modern smart thermostat.

I called the heating as well as a/c supplier to tell them what had happened as well as proinspected that this must have been a faulty smart thermostat that they sold me.

They agreed after sending out a certified heating as well as a/c specialist to check out the smart thermostat to make sure I wasn’t the a single who broke it. Which was completely understandable. Once they discovered that it was a faulty smart thermostat, they instantly got myself and others another a single that worked good as well as even did the upgrade of the smart thermostat to our central heating as well as a/c plan for free! That was mighty nice of them to take full responsibility for the mess up. A lot of other heating as well as a/c companies would not have been so nice about it as well as would have made myself and others pay for the upgrade of the updatement smart thermostat even though it was their carelessness that sold myself and others the terrible smart thermostat in the first venue. I have to say that this heating as well as a/c supplier in our local area is a single of the best I have ever experienced in all of our life. And as long as they keep being this great, I will use them as long as I live here in the local area. There is no a single better in our humble opinion.

I was thinking the other afternoon about our outdated car as well as how good it was.

• What got myself and others thinking about it was that the weather has been so boiling here lately I have been needing to crank the a/c in our modern car a lot.

And the a/c in our modern car is nowhere near as strong as our outdated car’s central heating as well as cooling plan was. The a/c in our modern car works as well as all, however occasionally I have to crank it super high for it to even be able to cool myself and others down while driving any long distances that are more than 15 hours away from our home. My outdated car’s central a/c would be no issue at all. What I may need to do when I have a few extra bucks go into our local auto shop as well as purchase a car central heating as well as a/c plan that was the same brand as well as model as what I had in our outdated car if they still make them as well as if they would labor in our modern car. I genuinely miss the quality a/c most. And enjoy I said, with this heat I have been needing the central a/c pretty much all the time anytime I have to drive anywhere. I occasionally forget how pressing central heating as well as a/c is in a car. It is just as pressing (if not even more pressing) than the central heating as well as a/c in your home! I will have to look into seeing if the outdated car heating as well as a/c plan I had still exists.
